Rockin'

Wow. No joke about over-the-top. That was royally badass.

When you first begin, it's unreasonably hard, but after you start powering up, that's when the fun begins.

I bit difficult, but still worth playing.

The weapons are what make this game awesome.

SUGGESTIONS:

Maybe make the background effects a little more interesting. It feels like you're flying through the same old area over and over again, so some variety would be pretty cool.

You also lose health way to quickly, but that's not a big deal.

Awesome.

Can you say, "Alien Hominid?"

Obviously, this had apparent AH influences.

Well, the graphics and explosions were really tight. The character and enemy animation/art was pretty plain and simple, but I was really impressed with the background art.

The gameplay rocked in almost every aspect. It was hard, but not impossible. Fast pace, explosions, power-ups...yeah, this game kicked ass.

Well (if not simply) coded, good presentation, and fun gameplay.

Good graphics, but that's about it.

The only thing that kept this game alive at all was the graphics. The game itself did absolutely nothing innovative, and it was just another 'jump'n collect' style game.

Well, even though it didn't really do anything new, it was still coded very well, and there were no glitches that I know of. Smooth animation and good graphics are this game's strong points.

The only problem I found gameplay wise was the lack of lives. It kind of sucked that you had to start all over...

CrippledPig responds:

Well, I'm glad to see the graphics are good, and even though it is yet just another jump n'collect game(Which it origionaly was not gonna be), this game was namely made to test some code I came up with. I would change it around abit, but I don't have the time to redo the whole game.

Completely solid...

Well, I have to say that this is plain freakin' awesome. I played the other StickMan Sam games, and this one is considerably better than the previous 3, I think.

While this one has taken a few steps further, it still had the feel of the other ones.
Of course, the humor and story were excellent, and the game play was exciting.

Like in the true StickMan fashion, the graphics and art sucked, but the game play was completely solid.

Good one.

P.S. I found a funny glitch. When you're in training, and you kneel and press 'Jump', you fall through the floor. Not a big deal, just thought it was interesting...

It was okay...

I'm a big fan of zombie games and the survival them. But this game didn't really impress me that much.
First off, you were armed with only one pussy pistol, and secondly, this game didn't have a variety of weapons to choose from. That was one of the major drawbacks.

Anyway, as far as positive goes, it is kind of intense, and the animation was pretty smooth. The music and menu were also really well done. So the presentation was excellent.

If you decide to create a second one, please include more weapons and possibly power-ups.

Good concept and art...

I liked the idea of this game. Sort of had the same concept as Marvin Spectrum...

Anyway, the animation and art of this game was impressive..
Very polished and easy on the eyes.

I also liked the intro movie. Well done and thought out, with a bit of humor, I thought.

Anyway, as far as the game play is concerned, it was fun for the first time but then got boring. It was on the hard side, and was slightly addictive.
Unfortunately, I didn't find too much in the game play area that really captivated me.

If it weren't for the art, I would have given this a 4 (gave it a 5).

Anyway, good stuff.

Wacky!

This certainly has an original concept -- and It actually worked!

I love the transitions from level to level, and the enemies were really well thought out! This has some of the best boss battles I've played in a long time..

Anyway, I loved the fast pace feel of this game, and the excess explosions.
Felt a little like PowerFox....

Very creative...

Wow. This kind of reminds me of my first game (which is a good thing).

Anyway, the concept and story was hilarious. The ending was completely abrupt and retarded, which added to the humor (Yeah, I know it gets boring working on the same project for a long time).

As far as graphics wise, I really dig the style! It was 100% cartoony, which really gave this game some personality.

As far as game play goes, nothing too exciting. It was fun the first time, and you seemed to know what you were doing.
Sure, the enemies weren't that dynamic, but who cares? It kind of reminded me of Super Mario. The jumping was fun, and somewhat challenging.
Anyway, this game had a good concept, excellent art, and some personality, but lacked in content.
:)

Decent, but not much else...

Well....Hmmmm. How do I put this?

GRAHPICS: The graphics were smooth, and easy on the eyes. They were basic, yet complex enough to deliver the point.

SOUND: The sound was pretty good. The music was kind of slow, but not too annoying. The soud effects were right on.

GAME PLAY: This is where you start to see this game's shortcomings. Well, the idea was nice, but you did absolutely nothing innovative. It was a little too meat and potatoes, if you know what I mean. I found the game play somewhat shallow, if not boring. It was impossible to avoid enemy shots, and I really didn't feel like I was getting anything accomplished.

All in all, this game does have some potential, although it is weak in the game play area. Just improve on some minor points, and this might become a really good game. As it is, it doesn't offer much to the flash game world.

The best old school game on NewGrounds...

First off, I'd like to point out how much ass old school games kick. People overrate all these new, flashy, ultra-realistic 3d games, and forget about all the badass old school games that owned everything.

This game was amazing:
It felt 99% old school, and played just like the arcade games...
The game play was really addictive and fast paced...

I got 581/792 and died, but it was awesome -

REAL MEN PLAY/DESIGN OLD SCHOOL GAMES.

P.S. The story was random and hilarious -- always a plus :)

I'm a dedicated underachiever.
